Women's Course Handicap Adjustment
The Bennett Valley Golf Club applies the USGA recommendation for adjusting course handicap for golfers playing from different sets of tees in a tournament.
BVGC tournaments default to the WHITE tees for men, course rating 69.5, and BVWC RED tees for women, course rating 69.8. The 0.3 course rating difference does not require a handicap adjustment. Prior to August 2014, the difference was 2.3 and did require a handicap adjustment.

Course rating differences are rounded to a whole number and added to a player's handicap to compensate for difficulty level between tees.
