HOW ARE PAYOUTS CHANGING?
Payouts are now cash by default. Members have the option of selecting cash or Pro Shop credit payouts.

WHY DOES BVGC DEFAULT TO CASH PAYOUTS?
Cash is more flexible than Pro Shop credit and the Pro Shop can't provide an online or written credit book account statement.

WILL I STILL BE ABLE TO MAINTAIN AMATEUR STATUS WHEN I RECEIVE CASH PAYOUTS?
Yes! USGA has 3 stipulations that allow a golfer to wager on a competition and still maintain amateur status:
  1. The players generally know each other
  2. Participation in the gambling or wagering is not required
  3. All money won is contributed by the participants
BVGC events are comprised of one or more individual tournament competitions.  #1 and #3 are inherent to all BVGC competitions.   In order to satisfy #2, a player can opt out of wagering on any individual competition during sign-up.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY PAYOUT PREFERENCE?
Send an email to tournament.bvgc@gmail.com to update your payout preference.  A payout preference change is applied to all future tournaments.

WHAT ARE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PRO SHOP CREDIT?
Pro Shop credit may be used for Pro Shop merchandise or at the Iron & Vine restaurant.  Pro Shop credit does not expire.

HOW DO I USE PRO SHOP CREDIT TO PAY A TAB AT THE IRON & VINE RESTAURANT?
For payment, members give the server a credit card/ID and mention they would like to use their credit book.

WHAT ABOUT GUEST PAYOUTS?
Guest payouts are cash only.

HOW ARE CASH PAYOUTS DELIVERED?
Cash payouts are available at any subsequent tournament scoring reception.  Alternatively, you may send an email to tournament.bvgc@gmail.com with your Paypal or Venmo username if that is how you wish to receive payment.
